nicola: I am part adventurer and part homebody trying to find a balance between the two. Born in England and raised in Houston, Texas by very British parents, I like to think I’ve come out infused with both cultures, reflected in my personality and habits….the good, the bad, and the ugly. I recently left my microbiology research position in Boston, married my best friend and other half, Andy, sold my little Honda Norman, and moved to Fort Worth, Texas. So, you could say I’m in a bit of a transition. Now, I am job hunter, home decorator, and dog trainer enjoying life with my husband and trying to decide between the academia or bust career or something entirely different.
